Great quality of the lens and frame and chain. It will get a minute to get used to. Perhaps I should have gotten the bigger size?

After a short period of getting used to it, my monocle now feels like a part of me. I am completely thrilled
Really bad! Zero! This poor quality chain broke on the first day of use. As a result, I'm using the cord supplied by default.

I had been searching for a functional monocle for years. Thank you for providing them. I just did not know which size to get. I will have to order the larger one in gold. poor me, lol
I need the smaller size, but I’ll have to save up a little to get it - VERY impressed with the quality and service though! I only wish there were a better way to make sure you get the right size!

Pleasant and well made. Takes a bit to get used to wearing however, haha.
The monocle gets 5 stars. It’s my second and I love it. The chain is the reason I only give 3 stars. I’m still on the fence with it. From a function standpoint It is very light and works well when using the monocle but I’m a bit worried it may not be robust enough and could potentially break. Im pretty active so if it breaks while not using the monocle I likely won’t notice and lose the lot. Time will tell. The cord that comes standard is robust and has proven itself over time.
I finally ordered a back up. And the fancy chain is pretty cool. Can’t imagine life without my Reading monocle. Thank you

Gang Time Love my monocle! I will be using it as a reader with my contacts. But more importantly and hilariously, I am starting a gang of monocle wearers. 25 members and counting so far!!! It is a bit of a learning curve to keep it on but I can’t wait for the gang to show up en masse to our first event!!! Customer service has been fantastic with all their help!!
Perfect Piece Very pleased with my monocle. very light and easy to wear. Yet solid and quality construction.Plus I wear a sleep mask and could never wear my glasses to read in bed. now i can read in bed with my monocle! Plan on ordering another one soon.
Unhelpful customer service Received 0.0 magnification rather then intended 2.5. Maybe my fault when ordering, but contact with customer service not helpful regarding exchange (see below). Told package was shipped from US Amazon warehouse and I could just return to that address. Invoice order number does not generate an Amazon return slip, so just return mailing seems quite unlikely to result in safe exchange. Customer service offered other option of returning to U.K. - no specifics (address, fees, etc). Can’t be so vague regarding correction of a problem - or lack knowledge of distribution of product to US. Otherwise monocle is as described. Customer service writes: “This is an American Amazon warehouse. It could be returned to them using there address. However I do not know what policy they have for exchange. You could return this to us for an exchange but it may take longer as we are in the UK.”
Why soo small ??? First of all it’s not real glass, but plastic staff And the bigger inconvenience it’s too small for me !!!!! Need to have a bigger lens for make it stay easier Voilà
One in the eye! Bought one for my OH who gets annoyed by reading glasses then peering over to see the telly or look further. He's rather smitten with it, though needs to get used to the whole tipping-face-downwards-without-monocle-falling-skill. I got one too, for when I'm watching the telly with contacts in but need to look at my knitting. not worn it in public yet - but I will!
As advertised I need reading glasses only very occasionally, and although I have a pair I just don't need them often enough to bother carrying them around. I use the monocle at work, and just keep it around my neck. It's so small and light I don't even feel it, but on those occasions where I have to read some really fine print, there it is. There is a slight learning curve to getting it to stay in your eye, but it's not that hard to figure out. Yes, there is a slight comedy factor in regards to the first reaction from friends and coworkers, but that's part of the fun. Putting that aside, though, I find it exceedingly practical. Highly recommended.
monocy I find it so much easier to have my monocle around my neck at all times than trying to remember where my glasses are (assuming that I’ve not sat on them again) Because (obviously) this works in one eye, the other still can see distance. So no need to “look over” reading glasses Yes sometimes this fails from my eye- there’s a knack to it - however i wouldn’t want to be without my monocle now. These are well made, the lanyards are the right length and the lens is clear and bright. Thoroughly recommended.

It's a monocle! Robust enough that I am not worried about losing it, and looks very smart. It certainly no longer looks like I made it myself!
Recently placed order 134263/01. I Monocle is nice but they omitted the second cord as advertised so don't expect to much :(

Quirky? Maybe. Fun? For sure. Practical? Certainly So happy with my monocle. Lightweight and so convenient. No more rummaging around in handbag for glasses or trying to squint and read something. Put it on as soon as I get up and only remove it for bed. Great price and service. I rave about how brilliant it is to everyone and think they’re mad if they don’t get one.
I love it This cord is the perfect length for use with a monocle. It is hard wearing but comfortable against your skin. I wouldn’t use anything else.
Used Daily I am absolutely in love with the monocles here at Monocle Madness; at last I have found a monocle that fits me perfectly. The modern design, as opposed to that of the antiques, features longer galleries that help with monocle sit in the eye so much better, and the lanyard loop is wider which means it does not accidentally bend when fitting. Marvellous, long live the monocle; and let it's practicality in today's modern world be known!
Brilliant I find it great. There's nothing that can be improved at the moment in my opinion. The cord and the frame fit well together, not only on themselves but also on the person who's wearing them. The cord length is also just right, and so is the size of the monocle itself. Overall the monocle is great and I've been enjoying it alot these 2 days. Also thank you for the free Cleaning Liquid that you sent me, works great aswell. -Nick Coolen
Disappointed I like it. The quality is good. The monocle is a bit smal, it would be better, if there were diferent sice to choose.
The only one to buy Now I have master wearing my new monocle I have to say it has become a valuable item. It looks good and is extremely practical. Wouldn't be without it.
