Hi, I hope you’re well. We spoke a little while back when I purchased one of your monocles — I’d called about the string length, and we ended up chatting about acting and The Drowned Man. You asked me to let you know how the project turned out, so I wanted to follow up with something for you to see. The product is fine. Both of the cords in my order were defective, but the store immediately sent me a new pair and they were fine. The store was very helpful and responsive. There was another problem, though, which is that my shipment to the EU incurred duties that were higher than the price of the cords, which were already on the expensive side for pieces of string. I did not see any notice that shipments to the EU would incur such duties, though the store says that information is somewhere on the website. Much as I appreicate the good customer service and like the product, the EU duties render the products unreasonably expensive.
