I wear a left eye patch in public and my "click it" readers don't fit as well. Since I only have a right eye (I am not a pirate) I thought I would try a monocle. It is not that easy to find in the states. The Monocle Madness website was very helpful and the 2X Reader monocle I ordered has proved the perfect solution. It also provides a bit of panache in a terminal situation.
Been meaning to get a Monocle for a while now. Fed up with being unable to read microscopic menus in dark restaurants.

Just got my hands on a prescribed monocle and I'm loving the experience! It comes in a sleek tin container with a sturdy string attached—both functional and stylish. There's something incredibly classic and refined about wearing it, and I’m all in on the aesthetic.

I wear an eye patch, so a monocle is just more practical and convenient for me. I have small orbitals, but the medium still seems to be too small, so I ordered the larger one. I love the monocle The lenses are VERY prone to finger prints, so I coated then with the same anti fogging solution I use on my motorcycle helmets, and it has helped a great deal preventing them. Don't try and bend the bridges even in the slightest to adjust them, as they would normally do at an optometrist. The the bridge connection will snap away from the lens frame as I found out the hard way.
First time using a monocle for a costume piece as well as curiosity and posterity. Took a little effort to adjust but then it fit it comfortably. It’s a marvelous accessory to have!
Requires technique, and I initially bought the small one, which I found impossible to use, although the magnification was fine. Suffered a severed optic nerve in my left eye in a cycling accident, so reading glasses are an encumbrance for me. The monocle is a worthwhile investment.
Originally bought the small version, magnification fine but hopelessly small for my face. The larger one fits well, although I will need to develop some technique. I have a severed optic nerve in my left eye as a consequence of a cycling accident, so a lens over my left eye is valueless. I am sure that the monocle will serve me well.
I was a bit disappointed to find the eye-glass was made of plastic, although that is written on the website. I had just hoped for a more premium product. It would also be nice to offer an eye-glass without the carriage.
Doesn’t seem as well made as my previous monocle. Hard to remove magnification sticker didn’t help this feeling. However, does the intended job well.

I wanted a monocle to help read directions on my watch, while trail running at night. It's much smaller than glasses, so easier to store and use. Really pleased with it
