The New Year is upon us, we are all eager to find out what action packed adventures 2019 has waiting for us.

Fear not my fellow steampunk fanatics for we are in charge of our own destiny. Cast your eye over The Complete Guide To UK Steampunk Festivals and plot your perfect passage through the year.

For every month we have all your steampunk needs covered, here are our highlights,



Whitby Steampunk Weekend

February 9-10th 2019, Whitby, North Yorkshire.

You will feel most welcome in this wonderful whimsical place, everybody here is celebrated and made to feel most special.



March 1–3rd, 2019, Whitwick, Leicestershire.

Live Action Role Play at its beautiful brilliant best! Attended by cosplay and steampunk communities alike.


Time Quake Steampunk Festival

April 5–7th  2019, Manchester.

Created by The Ministry of Steampunk, TimeQuake has it all in a quirky world where imagination knows no bounds.


A Splendid Day Out

May 31st – 2nd June 2019, Morecambe.

SteamAgeddon! A world brought from the beginning of time and transported far into the future ruin! A must for all steampunk enthusiasts.



Bristol Steampunk Saturday

June 29th 2019, Bristol.

One day full of full throttle in your face steampunk action! Music, Games, Shows, Traders, Entertainment and drinks make this a delightful day out.

The Steampunk Mistress And The Time Machine

June 30th - July 4th On Board Brunel's SS Great Britain, Bristol.

Asylum Steampunk Festival

August 23-26th 2019, Lincoln.

The largest and longest running steampunk festival in the Solar System, attracting thousands from around the globe.


Hastings Steampunk Circus Of Curiosities

14 – 15th September 2019, Hastings

Coming at you with a field full of dreams and top hat full of tricks! Its two days of pure Steampunk heaven.

Punknik at Preston Park

15th September 2019, Preston

A fabulous day out, celebrating all things Steampunk, with the chance to kit yourself out from the many stalls in our stunning Music Room and Victorian Street.

Entry is free to the event and museum for the day.



King's Lynn Steampunk Society Bazaar Convivial

5th October, Kings Lynn, Norfolk

Always popular it features a free daytime market followed by ticketed evening of vaudeville. Find them on Facebook for more details. 

Whitby Goth Weekend

25-27th October 2019, Whitby, North Yorkshire.

Spooktacular event in the build up to Halloween. It’s the one of the world’s premier gothic events. Wo days of music and madness its loved by Goths and Steampunkers alike.

23-24th November 2019, National Space Centre Leicester

Out of this world experience at The National Space Centre. Steampunks in space guarantees to be the greatest gig in the galaxy.

The listing is far from a complete guide and is quite frankly causing some annoyance with other event hosts, promotors and even across the Steampunk community in general.
